Monthly Study Sessions
CRL organises monthly study session on international/domestic human rights law and practise.The essence of these sessions are to teach and inculcate current but fundamental principles of human rights law.
CRL aims to bring bare through these sessions current trends and development within this field ; the citizenry are well informed of their rights to enable same to be well defended when encroached.
These sessions are of benefit to all. For the student of law, you would have the opportunity of inculcating opinions from seasoned teachers; opinions that will cut your wisdom tooth! For the Human rights worker you will learn of developments which may have effect on your work and importantly where necessary, essential skills. For the law officer it is an important update on current best practice. As participation is not restricted to any specific region, our sessions are an important tool for networking between practitioners, students and citizens.
Monthly Roundtables
CRL organises monthly round tables on human and citizen rights issues. The essence of these round tables are to throw light on current legal and/or other issues affecting or impinging citizen rights.
These round tables are also an important networking tool amongst human rights' workers, lawyers, N.G.O Staff and others interested in the field of citizen rights. It is also an important tool for a cross fertilization of ideas.
Each month CRL invites seasoned speaker(s) on each field.
